Anti-Social Behaviour Case Officer

About the role
Join Manchester's Neighbourhood Service as an Anti‑Social Behaviour Case Officer. You will use your regulatory knowledge to protect the health, safety and well‑being of the community while delivering high‑quality enforcement services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on standards and regulate community activity.
- Lead statutory enforcement duties and coordinate with council departments and external bodies.
- Handle requests within set timescales, ensuring actions are proportionate and effective.
- Maintain high customer service standards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Research best practices and keep subject‑matter expertise up to date.
- Manage data quality, ensuring accurate and timely recording of information.
- Potentially supervise a team through direct line or matrix management.
Required profile
- Experience in compliance, regulation or a similar field.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex information at all staff levels.
- Excellent time‑management and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Creative problem‑solving and resilience when enforcing legislation.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- Knowledge of Anti‑Social Behaviour legislation and its practical application.
