Anti‑Social Behaviour & Enforcement Officer (3‑month contract)

About the role

This 3‑month, 37‑hour per week position supports safe, welcoming neighbourhoods in Devon. As an Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) & Enforcement Officer you will be the first point of contact for residents reporting nuisance and anti‑social incidents, managing cases and working with partner agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ASB and hate‑crime cases to maintain peaceful communities.
• Build and maintain relationships with police, local authorities and community groups.
• Gather evidence, prepare legal documentation and present cases in court.
• Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues, ensuring consistent enforcement actions.
• Maintain a caseload, monitor progress and report outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in social housing or a related field, preferably focused on anti‑social behaviour.
• Proven ability to handle challenging behaviour and resolve conflict with partner agencies.
• Familiarity with court procedures and litigation processes.
• Demonstrated track record of improving customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of social housing policy, landlord‑tenant legislation and current best practice.

• Competitive hourly rate: £20.75 plus holiday pay, £23.25 including holiday pay, or £27.10 via umbrella.
