AOG & Pharma Operator – 4 on/4 off Days Shift – Heathrow

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AOG & Pharmaceutical Operator to join our busy air‑freight team at Heathrow Airport. You will manage time‑critical aircraft on ground (AOG) shipments and temperature‑sensitive pharma cargo, ensuring swift, compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end AOG and urgent air‑freight shipments.
• Handle pharmaceutical cargo in line with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
• Maintain cold‑chain integrity and temperature control throughout transit.
• Liaise with airlines, customs, handling agents and transport providers.
• Process airway bills, customs entries and related shipping documentation.
• Track shipments in real time and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Prioritise urgent freight movements while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in air‑freight, AOG or pharmaceutical logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and freight documentation.
• Understanding of GDP and temperature‑controlled logistics.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
