App Development Consulting Engineer - AI/ML

About the role

Apple is seeking an experienced engineer to act as a hands‑on technical expert for its largest customers and strategic partners. You will guide product teams in designing and shipping AI‑powered applications across iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS and visionOS.

Key responsibilities

• Partner directly with customer engineering teams as a trusted technical voice, shaping the development, integration, and deployment of AI‑enabled business apps.
• Build reference implementations that showcase Apple’s AI/ML frameworks and on‑device capabilities.
• Engage with C‑level executives to translate technical possibilities into business value.
• Collaborate with internal Apple stakeholders to accelerate customers’ AI transformation.
• Create and deliver presentations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support EMEIA business, education customers and partners, including occasional travel.

Required profile

• Recent, real‑world experience building and shipping multiple high‑quality native apps on Apple platforms.
• Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and Apple’s developer tools.
• Hands‑on experience creating AI‑powered applications, integrating LLMs and on‑device ML models.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies and tools and apply them appropriately.
