Application Developer (Hybrid) – London

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international professional services firm to find an experienced Application Developer for their technology team in London. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while delivering high‑performance web, mobile and client‑server solutions that support critical business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC / .NET technologies.
• Build responsive, user‑friendly front‑end interfaces with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Bootstrap or jQuery.
• Develop, optimise and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure performance, integrity and scalability.
• Create reporting and data‑visualisation solutions using Power BI and SSRS.
• Leverage low‑code platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate) to automate and streamline business processes.
• Integrate applications with internal systems and third‑party services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and promote best development practices.
• Provide user support and occasional out‑of‑hours maintenance when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with .NET, C#, Web APIs and SQL Server.
• Proven track record building modern web applications using ASP.NET MVC or .NET Core.
• Solid front‑end development experience with React, Angular or similar frameworks.
• Experience delivering reporting and visualisation solutions.
• Familiarity with low‑code/Power Platform tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
