Application Support Analyst – Energy Trading Operations

About the role

The Application Support Analyst will own issue resolution and provide both procedural and technical support for Marex's energy trading applications. Working closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams, you will ensure the stability and performance of front‑office and post‑trade systems.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of support tickets, incidents and outages, driving them to resolution.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team, service desk and wider IT group to manage incidents and maintain business continuity.
• Support front‑office and post‑trade applications, including trade capture, market data, settlement, clearing and risk calculation systems.
• Handle support requests, problem management and ensure high‑quality service delivery to end users and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application support within a financial or trading environment.
• Strong ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical engineering teams.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
