Application Support Team Lead

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established SaaS provider that is entering an exciting growth phase. The Application Support Team Lead will manage 2nd and 3rd line support while remaining hands‑on with complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex technical tickets across the SaaS platform.
• Write and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries.
• Debug applications using C# and other OOP languages.
• Coordinate critical incident response and conduct post‑incident reviews.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of 4‑5 senior technical staff.
• Provide technical insight to Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on SQL expertise and experience as an escalation point.
• Debugging experience in C# or comparable OOP languages.
• Proven 3rd‑line application support experience in a SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Some technical people‑leadership experience.

• Salary up to £52,000 per year plus bonus.
