Applications and Integrations Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Applications and Integrations Lead to design, implement and maintain complex application and integration solutions for Cotswold Archaeology. The role translates business requirements into technical solutions, guiding stakeholders and managing project priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all applications and integration activities, delivering services using the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams and other M365 services.
• Identify and build processes where Power Platform and M365 can improve efficiency and automation.
• Collaborate with the Geomatics team on digital applications such as GIS and digital recording systems.
• Guide employees on effective use of SharePoint, Teams, Co‑Pilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agent.
• Integrate and manage data sources including Dataverse, SharePoint and SQL.
• Act as technical authority for enterprise‑wide applications (e.g., Dynamics 365) and provide 3rd‑line support.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, highly available and well documented.
• Build APIs and middleware, troubleshoot integration issues and maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering application and integration projects, including architecture and design.
• Experience managing third‑party suppliers and matrix‑managing project resources.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies and meet specifications, budgets and timelines.
• Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on development with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agent).
• Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive expertise.
• SQL and hierarchical structured data handling.
• Azure Integration services, especially Azure API Management.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse (desirable).
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 (desirable).
