Applications Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Applications Developer to join our London technology team. In this hands‑on role you will enhance the robustness, stability and performance of our data pipelines and trading‑system infrastructure, supporting investment‑management data and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Production and support teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Learn and work with our technology architecture, focusing on trading systems and the data lake.
• Partner with the broader Engineering team to understand and apply best practices and architecture.
• Perform technical analysis to pinpoint root causes of issues.
• Design, develop and implement changes to data flows and systems.
• Write code, conduct code reviews and support business teams as needed.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in a financial, technological, mathematical or scientific discipline with strong analytical foundations.
• Current experience developing in C# and Python and a passion for software development.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience designing robust data flows.
• Clear, concise communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Self‑driven, motivated work ethic and an energetic, enthusiastic attitude.
