Applied AI Architect – Digital Natives Business

About the role

As a member of Anthropic’s Applied AI team, you will act as a Pre‑Sales architect, becoming a trusted technical advisor for digital‑native businesses. You will help customers understand the value of Claude, design evaluation frameworks, and integrate Claude safely and reliably into their technology stacks.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey, coordinating internally across Sales, Product, and Engineering.
• Create and deliver technical content for both engineering teams and executive audiences.
• Guide architecture decisions, design scalable cloud solutions, and help customers integrate Claude via the API or Claude for Work.
• Identify common integration patterns and feed insights back to Product and Engineering.
• Travel occasionally for workshops, deep‑dives, and relationship building.

Required profile

• 5+ years in technical customer‑facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Experience with fast‑moving digital‑native businesses and rapid buying cycles.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to founders, C‑suite, and engineering teams.
• Strong background in designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating modern tech stacks.
• Passion for safe, beneficial AI and a collaborative, mentorship‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures.
• Experience with Claude API and Claude for Work.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools.

• Annual salary range £190,000 – £230,000 GBP (On‑Target Earnings).
