Applied AI Architect – Large Enterprise

About the role

The Applied AI Architect partners with enterprise customers to translate OpenAI’s models into real‑world business impact. You will act as the technical CTO for a portfolio of large enterprises, shaping AI strategy, guiding deployments, and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical account plan across ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI API, Codex and other AI solutions.
• Lead discovery workshops with executives and technical teams to identify high‑value use cases.
• Design end‑to‑end AI architectures covering models, data integration, security, privacy and governance.
• Coordinate specialists (deployment engineers, security, product, partners) to deliver prototypes, proofs of value and production deployments.
• Track adoption, usage and business impact, intervening early to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Significant experience in customer‑facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, technical account leadership or AI deployment.
• Proven ability to guide enterprise organizations from evaluation through production adoption.
• Strong credibility with senior technical and business leaders (CTO, CIO, CISO, AI heads).
• Deep understanding of modern AI systems, LLMs, agentic applications and enterprise AI workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to turn ambiguity into clear technical narratives and action plans.
