Apprentice Sales Assistant – Retail Apprenticeship

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Sales Assistant to join Savers in Wareham. Over a 12‑month in‑store training programme you will develop retail skills, support customers and help maintain our high‑standard store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every shopper leaves with a “Savers smile”.
• Maintain store presentation and visual standards to keep the shop “insta‑worthy”.
• Promote and sell products, offering customers the best deals on the high street.
• Engage with the local community and represent the store at events.
• Complete a Level 2 Retail Apprenticeship assessment at the end of the training period.

Required profile

• Passionate about retail products and fast‑paced environments.
• Team‑player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Minimum Grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Not currently in education, available for full‑time shifts and eligible to work in the UK.
• Never completed a retail apprenticeship before and new to retail.
