About the role
Join Howdens Joinery as an Apprentice Warehouse Person at the Truro depot and start a hands‑on career in supply‑chain operations. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, learning the fundamentals of stock management, health and safety, and customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and organise stock within the depot.
- Support the receipt and dispatch of goods in a busy warehouse.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external customers.
- Develop confidence and competence in a fast‑moving depot setting.
Required profile
- Positive attitude and strong potential – experience is not required.
- Friendly, confident when dealing with people and eager to learn.
- Reliable, organised and looking for a long‑term career.

What we offer
- Salary of £16,686 per year plus team incentives.
- Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship (12‑15 months).
- Support to achieve Maths & English qualifications if needed.
