Approved Electrician

About the role

ADI Group Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Approved Electrician to support industrial and automotive clients across the Midlands. The role involves hands‑on electrical work, site management and project support, offering a clear pathway to supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, modifications, maintenance and testing on industrial and automotive sites.
• Manage day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and high‑quality standards.
• Liaise with customers, site contacts, engineers and subcontractors.
• Order and coordinate materials, equipment and labour.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and safety audits.
• Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements.
• Support larger project delivery alongside the management team.
• Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, company procedures and client requirements.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• AM2 qualification.
• Current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations qualification (18th Edition).
• CompEx qualification or relevant experience (advantageous).
• Experience in manufacturing, production, automotive or heavy industrial sectors.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the Midlands.
