Approved Electrician – Luton

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established infrastructure services business that delivers critical electrical works to commercial and industrial clients across the UK. The Approved Electrician will work independently on a varied portfolio of sites, primarily in Luton and the South East, and will be supported by a team of engineers and management.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, inspection and testing of electrical systems for commercial and industrial sites.
• Perform reactive and remedial duties, including fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Liaise directly with clients on‑site to discuss ongoing works and identify further service needs.
• Complete test certifications, RAMS documentation and other required paperwork to the required standard.
• Represent the business professionally at all times.

Required profile

• Valid C&G 2330 (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition certification.
• C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualification.
• JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card.
• Hands‑on experience in commercial or industrial electrical settings.
• Valid, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Required skills

• Electrical installation, inspection and testing.

What we offer

• Salary £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (including realistic overtime).
