Arabic-Speaking Bank Cashier – Private Banking

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for an experienced Arabic‑speaking banking cashier within a high‑performing private banking branch in Central London. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and operational teams to deliver accurate, secure and customer‑focused cash services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cash tills handling Sterling and foreign currencies, processing deposits and withdrawals.
• Balance daily cash holdings and perform till reconciliations.
• Ensure approvals for high‑value transactions and support sanctions/World‑Check screening.
• Accept cheque deposits, internal transfers and verify account status before processing.
• Assist customers with interactive teller and branch banking services.
• Maintain custody of debit cards, PINs and other sensitive materials, updating branch registers.
• Support Relationship Managers with debit‑card activations and other customer requests.
• Coordinate cash‑ordering requirements and maintain appropriate branch cash levels.
• Provide management information, statistical reporting and general branch administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a banking cashier or teller.
• Fluent Arabic language skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow internal banking procedures.
• Understanding of anti‑money‑laundering and sanctions screening processes.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
