Arboriculture Lecturer – Full Training & Qualification

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Arborist to transition from field work to a rewarding teaching position at a leading land‑based college. You will receive full teacher training and qualifications while using your industry expertise to inspire and develop the next generation of arboriculture professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver both practical and theoretical Arboriculture lessons.
• Support learners through tutorials, target setting and progression reviews.
• Mark assessments and track student progress using digital systems.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
• Engage with employers to ensure training aligns with current industry needs.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture.
• Relevant industry tickets (e.g., NPTC).
• Significant hands‑on experience in Arboriculture.
• Motivation to move into teaching and support learner success.
• Residence within a commutable distance to Preston.
