Architect – Cultural & Heritage Projects

About the role

An established architectural practice delivers cultural, heritage and conservation projects alongside contemporary design work, bringing together architects, designers and consultants for historic buildings and complex interventions. This role suits a recently qualified architect with 3+ years of experience after Part 2, working across significant cultural projects through the RIBA stages and contributing to presentation, technical development and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to projects across RIBA Stages 2 to 6.
• Produce 2D technical drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop design and technical packages from concept through to detailed design.
• Support site surveys, site visits and project documentation.
• Prepare presentation and client-facing materials.
• Contribute to conservation, repair and restoration work.
• Develop creative and technical solutions for existing and historic buildings.

Required profile

• ARB, RIBA, RICS or equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years of experience after Part 2, across RIBA Stages 2 to 6.
• Experience with existing buildings and an interest in historic buildings and conservation.
• Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning Regulations.
• Good presentation, hand-drawing and sketching skills; organised, proactive and deadline-driven.

Required skills

• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.
• SketchUp and Twinmotion experience is desirable.
