Architect – Edinburgh (Employee‑owned practice)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to join our award‑winning, employee‑owned practice in Edinburgh. You will work on a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects, contributing to sustainable, people‑focused design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality architectural designs supported by robust technical solutions.
• Coordinate and maintain the integrity of project‑specific information, ensuring compliance with BIM standards.
• Manage quality‑control tasks throughout all RIBA work stages.
• Review designs against briefs, participate in design reviews and apply the RIBA Plan of Work.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK building regulations, sector‑specific standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified Architect with professional accreditation.
• Proven experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Strong design ability combined with solid technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and workload management skills.
• Passion for sustainable, people‑centred architecture.
