Architect – Education Project (Manchester)

About the role

The role is for an Architect to join an employee‑owned practice in Manchester, working on a £20 million education project currently at RIBA Stage 3. You will lead design and technical delivery of teaching spaces, workshops, flexible learning environments and an auditorium.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of design and technical delivery for the education project.
• Coordinate external consultants and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Produce and review detailed technical information and construction documentation.
• Contribute to project delivery across RIBA Stages 3‑5.
• Monitor design quality, project deadlines and technical compliance.
• Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered Architect.
• Previous experience delivering commercial, workplace or education‑related projects.
• Ability to independently manage project responsibilities and lead key work packages.
• Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (essential).
