Architect – Newcastle (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to join our award‑winning studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to contribute to high‑profile, design‑led projects across all RIBA stages.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to design and delivery of projects from concept through construction.
• Produce high‑quality drawings, models and presentations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Support project leaders with technical and design development.
• Attend design reviews, client meetings and site visits.
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and planning requirements.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered Architect or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design quality and technical competence.
• Experience across multiple RIBA stages, preferably in a UK practice.
• Ability to manage workload and contribute to several projects simultaneously.
• Passion for design excellence, sustainability and placemaking.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
