Architectural Technician – Residential Design

About the role

We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join a leading new‑build developer delivering high‑quality residential homes across the North West. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, from affordable one‑bed flats to luxury five‑bed houses, and to develop your career within a supportive, award‑winning team.

Key responsibilities

• Collate, organise and maintain all technical information and drawings for residential projects.
• Prepare and design detailed proposals primarily using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers and the construction team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Support the progression of junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a design role within residential construction.
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
• Ambitious, proactive attitude with a passion for the construction industry.
• Desire to grow into a senior position.
