Architectural Technician – Residential & Mixed‑Use Projects

About the role
We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join a well‑established practice delivering high‑quality residential and mixed‑use developments across the UK. You will play a pivotal role in technical project delivery from concept through completion, supporting the firm’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of residential and mixed‑use projects.
- Produce and oversee high‑quality construction information.
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors and developers.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Assist with project planning, resource management and technical standards.
Required profile
- Architectural Technician or similar with experience across RIBA Stages 0‑6.
- Strong background in AutoCAD or comparable software.
- Ability to work on‑site in Chelmsford and commute reliably.

What we offer
- Salary £45,000‑£55,000 per year.
- Training, career progression and company benefits.
- Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30 onsite.
