Architectural Technologist – Birmingham

About the role

This permanent position is with a dynamic RIBA‑chartered practice delivering high‑profile projects across the West Midlands. The Architectural Technologist will join the Birmingham studio, contributing to a wide range of design services.

Key responsibilities

• Attend design team and site meetings.
• Undertake site visits to ensure high quality and technical compliance.
• Manage and coordinate the design team while providing technical design input.
• Prepare planning, technical and construction drawings.
• Prepare and submit planning applications.

Required profile

• Degree in Architectural Technology.
• Post‑qualification experience as a Technologist within a UK practice.
• Live within a commutable distance to Birmingham.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Strong technical and presentation abilities.
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Experience across a range of sectors.
