Architectural Technologist / Building Surveyor (Hybrid, Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist or Building Surveyor to join our Bristol‑based team. The role offers a hybrid working model and involves delivering technical design and project support for a variety of public‑sector refurbishment and adaptation schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop technical design drawings, specifications and tender documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Provide detailed design input to support feasibility studies and ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of specifications, schedules of work and technical reports.
• Support the delivery of refurbishment, adaptation and maintenance projects, with the optional opportunity to lead projects from inception to completion.

Required profile

• Qualified degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or Building Surveying.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in technical design and detailing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with a collaborative working style.
• Proactive attitude and enthusiasm for developing within a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM Level 2 workflows and 3‑D modelling.
