Architectural Technologist – Stockport

About the role

This permanent position is for an Architectural Technologist to join an established RIBA‑chartered practice in Stockport. You will work on a variety of projects from inception to completion, collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed design documentation throughout project phases.
• Prepare building‑regulation packages and submit planning applications.
• Carry out site visits and surveys to verify technical compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to maintain strong working relationships.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Architectural Technology.
• Strong post‑qualification experience within a UK practice.
• CIAT chartership (desirable).
• Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Ability to work within a commutable distance to Stockport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Technical detailing.
• In‑depth understanding of UK building regulations.
