Area Manager – Food-to-Go / Bakery

About the role
Layka Connect is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead its Food‑to‑Go and bakery stores across the South East. You will be responsible for multiple locations, driving commercial performance while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and develop Retail Managers to build high‑performing teams.
- Analyse store performance, identify growth opportunities and deliver sales targets.
- Maintain consistent brand standards and operational excellence across all sites.
- Ensure safe, compliant and efficient store operations.
- Identify initiatives that improve customer loyalty and colleague engagement.
Required profile
- Proven retail leadership experience, preferably in food‑to‑go, coffee house or bakery environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales growth.
- Ability to influence and develop people at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑store environment.
