Area Manager

About the role

As an Area Manager in Amazon's Fulfilment Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, meeting customer demand, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. You will lead a team on a shift basis, driving productivity and continuous improvement across your area.

Key responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and embed a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyse performance data and implement changes to sustain high quality and productivity.
• Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise output and enhance service quality.
• Monitor shift performance against business objectives and initiate actions for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior management to standardise shift practices.
• Mentor and coach new managers, acting as a role model.
