Area Manager – Kent Property Auctions

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Area Manager to lead our auction business across Kent. Based in Canterbury, you will act as the face of the company, building relationships with estate agents, investors, solicitors and housing associations while driving new auction instructions and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new auction instructions through networking, prospecting and business development activities.
• Conduct property appraisals and advise clients on the auction process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with estate agents, solicitors, surveyors, investors and referral partners.
• Increase market share and raise brand awareness across Kent.
• Manage client relationships throughout the auction journey.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities via cold calling, events and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and activity logs using CRM systems.
• Collaborate with the wider auction team to maximise revenue growth.

Required profile

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to nurture lasting relationships.
• Well‑connected within the Kent property market, preferably based around Maidstone, Ashford or surrounding areas.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, target‑driven and comfortable generating new business.
• Professional, consultative approach with ambition to grow the region.
• Interest in future leadership and progression opportunities.

Required skills

• Experience in estate agency, property sales, investment, business development, valuations or auctions.
• Proficiency with CRM systems for activity tracking.
