Area Manager – Logistics

About the role
As an Area Manager at Amazon Logistics you will lead a large, diverse team to ensure that your operational area meets the fast‑paced demand of Amazon’s last‑mile delivery network. You will work on‑site at an Amazon fulfillment or sortation centre, balancing safety, productivity and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing across all shifts.
- Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity.
- Lead and support a team while handling administrative duties and fostering a strong team culture.
- Identify process improvements and drive optimisation to enhance customer service.
- Collaborate with fellow managers to standardise shift processes and manage contingency planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
- Fluent in spoken, written and read English.
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics or a related field is preferred.
