About the role
Amazon’s Operations team is looking for an Area Manager to lead a night‑shift site in South East England. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of order fulfilment while driving productivity across your area.
Key responsibilities
- Create, oversee, and embed a culture of safety and well‑being.
- Analyze performance data and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity.
- Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise output, and improve service quality.
- Monitor shift performance against business objectives and act to enhance operational excellence.
- Collaborate with senior managers to standardise shift practices and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Strong communication skills with peers and leadership.
- Ability to use data or anecdotal evidence to influence decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
