Area Merchandiser – Retail Field Role

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Area Merchandiser to support a leading beauty retail operation across the North West of England. This field‑based position involves travelling between stores, implementing new product launches and ensuring visual standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Visit stores across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and surrounding areas on a regular basis.
• Merchandise new product launches and range updates according to planograms.
• Audit merchandising standards and verify planogram compliance.
• Coach and train store merchandisers, providing feedback and best‑practice guidance.
• Troubleshoot store issues, identify improvement opportunities and report findings.
• Build strong relationships with store teams and regional managers.
• Prepare reports and photographic evidence of store compliance.

Required profile

• Retail experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience coaching or developing colleagues is desirable.
• Organised with excellent communication skills.
• Confident working independently and managing a regional portfolio.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
