Area Merchandiser – Scotland & North England

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Area Merchandiser to support a leading beauty retail operation across Scotland and the North of England. This field‑based position involves visiting stores, launching new products and ensuring visual standards are met while acting as the go‑to expert for your region.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores across the Central Belt and North England on a regular schedule.
• Implement new product launches and range changes according to planograms.
• Audit merchandising standards and verify compliance with visual guidelines.
• Coach and train store merchandisers to improve execution.
• Identify and resolve store issues, providing actionable feedback.
• Build strong relationships with store teams and regional managers.
• Prepare reports and photographic evidence of merchandising performance.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach or develop colleagues.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and confident working independently.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
