Area Merchandiser – South West England

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Area Merchandiser to support a leading beauty retail operation across Southampton, Bristol, Reading and surrounding areas. This field‑based position involves visiting stores, launching new products and ensuring high merchandising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Visit multiple stores within the assigned region on a regular basis.
• Implement new product launches and range changes according to planograms.
• Audit merchandising standards and verify planogram compliance.
• Coach, train and support store merchandisers to improve performance.
• Identify store issues, propose improvements and build strong relationships with store teams.
• Provide detailed reports and photographic feedback after each visit.

Required profile

• Retail experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience coaching or developing colleagues.
• Organised with excellent communication skills.
• Confident working independently and willing to travel overnight when required.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
