Area Sales Manager – Automatic Doors

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sale of high‑quality automatic door and security systems across the North West. You will work directly with end users, curtain‑wall contractors, façade specialists, security firms, and main and sub‑contractors on commercial projects such as hospitals and universities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by targeting a range of construction and security contractors.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers in the construction and facilities sectors.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure solutions meet project specifications.
• Track sales performance against targets and report progress to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling automatic door or related security systems.
• Strong understanding of the construction supply chain, including main and sub‑contractors.
• Ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
• Highly driven, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
