Area Sales Manager – Bathroom Brassware

About the role

This is a field‑based sales role focused on promoting a broad range of bathroom taps, showers, accessories and fittings across the South East of England. You will work with independent bathroom retailers and buying groups, balancing new‑business development with the management of existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by recruiting approximately four new bathroom retail showrooms or buying‑group members each month.
• Manage a portfolio of 80‑90 existing independent retailers and buying‑group members, maintaining strong relationships and driving repeat sales.
• Promote a distributed product range covering taps, showers, brassware and related accessories.
• Conduct five or more client meetings per day, both in‑person and via telephone.
• Maintain and grow a turnover base of around £2 million, with individual accounts ranging from £5 k to over £60 k.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales track record within the kitchen‑bathroom‑bedroom (KBB) sector.
• Experience selling to independent bathroom retailers, plumbers’ merchants and buying‑group members such as NBG, Fortis, IPG, Bathcom and UKPS.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts.
• Existing contacts within the independent bathroom retail or buying‑group community are highly desirable.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously.
