Area Sales Manager – Bathroom Products

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead field sales for a range of bathroom products across Anglia and surrounding areas. This is a B2B, account‑development position focused on both plumbers/builders merchants and independent bathroom showrooms.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the client’s bathroom product portfolio, including baths, shower enclosures and bathroom furniture.
• Manage a territory of approximately 300+ accounts, split evenly between merchants and showrooms.
• Conduct up to eight customer calls per day, five days a week, to drive sales and nurture relationships.
• Achieve sales targets on a £4.5‑£5 million turnover territory.
• Introduce newly released products and maintain an average order value of £500‑£1,000.

Required profile

• Proven B2B field‑sales experience, preferably selling to plumbers merchants, builders merchants or independent retail showrooms.
• Long‑term career focus; no frequent job changes.
• Comfortable selling middle‑to‑upper‑range non‑branded products.
• Strong territory‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Effective objection‑handling skills in a sales environment.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary £55,000 (negotiable) plus £15,000‑£20,000 uncapped commission.
• Potential salary uplift of up to 10%.
