Area Sales Manager – Boilers & Renewables

About the role

The Area Sales Manager – Boilers & Renewables will lead field sales across Scotland, promoting a premium range of water‑heating products including boilers, heat pumps, biomass units and other renewable solutions. You will work directly with plumbing and heating installers, contractors and merchants to generate demand and grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and promote a portfolio of boilers, renewables, heat pumps, cylinders and air heaters to installers, contractors and merchants.
• Balance 50 % account management with 50 % new‑business development across a high‑potential territory.
• Develop and nurture relationships with independent and national plumbing & heating merchants.
• Collaborate with the sales team and Sales Director to achieve aggressive growth targets.
• Provide market feedback and insights to support product development and marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales experience in plumbing & heating products, preferably for manufacturers.
• Track record of territory growth and managing both existing accounts and new prospects.
• Stable career history with a self‑motivated, results‑driven attitude.
• Ability to work independently, travel frequently across Scotland and represent the brand professionally.
