Area Sales Manager - Electrical Appliances

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead field sales for a portfolio of electrical appliances and household goods across the North West, East Midlands, Yorkshire, North East and Cumbria. You will be responsible for growing revenue with both independent and national electrical retailers, contractors and student accommodation providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a £2.3m turnover area covering roughly 150 accounts.
• Sell a range of electrical appliances, lighting and ventilation products to retailers and contractors.
• Work closely with an Internal Sales Manager in a buddy‑system to achieve targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Report sales performance and market insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling multiple brands to retailers, preferably in electrical products.
• Self‑motivated, driven and able to work independently.
• Personable team player with strong communication skills.
