About the role

The client, a market leader in the floorcoverings sector, is expanding its sales force. The Area Sales Manager will drive sales of floorcovering products across Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire, building strong relationships with independent retailers and merchants.

Key responsibilities

Develop and grow sales of floorcoverings to independent retail partners within the defined territory.
Maintain close relationships with key customers at all levels.
Collaborate with the distribution network to manage supply‑chain logistics for ongoing projects.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets.

Required profile

Proven experience in the floorcoverings industry, selling to independent flooring retailers.
Collaborative, goal‑oriented and persistent with strong verbal communication skills.
Organised, self‑motivated, numerate and analytical, able to work both autonomously and within a team.

Salary up to £50,000 per year plus bonus.
