Area Sales Manager - Heating, Plumbing, HVAC & Building Services

About the role

Join a leading provider of technical solutions for heating, plumbing and building services as an Area Sales Manager. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will grow the territory through existing account development and new business generation while delivering technical customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with existing and prospective customers across heating, plumbing, HVAC and building services sectors.
• Identify new commercial opportunities and develop them into sustainable business.
• Create and implement territory and account plans to maximise sales opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, demonstrations, training sessions and business reviews.
• Negotiate pricing and agreements within commercial parameters.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, forecasts and activity logs.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade events and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of relevant external field sales experience in heating, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, M&E or related building services.
• Established relationships with merchants, contractors, installers, heating engineers, developers, housing associations and OEMs.
• Proven ability to manage and grow a territory, open new accounts and build a strong pipeline.
• Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, negotiation and account planning.
• Excellent CRM, pipeline management and forecasting skills.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
