Area Sales Manager – Hospitality & Leisure

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to lead our field‑based sales team across Devon and Cornwall. The role combines new‑business development with the management of existing accounts in pubs, hotels, bars, golf clubs and other leisure venues. You will own a defined territory, build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth for a market‑leading supplier network.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the hospitality and leisure sector.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing and ongoing account management.
• Collaborate with internal procurement, customer service and senior management to expand the customer base.
• Attend monthly meetings at the company headquarters near Bristol.

Required profile

• Proven track record in field sales, preferably within food, drink or leisure hospitality.
• Strong ability to develop long‑term customer relationships.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and service‑focused.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
