Area Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a leading London‑based tour operator. You will be responsible for driving B2B sales across the South East England region, building strong relationships with retail travel agents and delivering premium travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for core B2B accounts and identify growth markets.
• Nurture and expand relationships with third‑party retail agents, providing regular performance updates.
• Deliver product training, travel showcase presentations and e‑learning sessions for travel agents.
• Utilise marketing collateral to maximise brand visibility within key agencies.
• Organise and participate in trade shows, events and familiarisation trips.
• Analyse Salesforce data to monitor progress and support agents in achieving targets.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the designated territory.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Agency Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in the travel industry.
• Strong track record of building and nurturing trade partnerships.
• Passion for premium and luxury travel with a willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to act as a brand ambassador and achieve sales targets.
