Area Sales Manager

About the role

You will manage your own territory selling technical solutions that keep industrial plants running, with a strong base salary, uncapped commission and a company car. The position covers the West of England and Wales for a global specialist in corrosion‑protection and industrial coatings.

Key responsibilities

• Win new accounts and grow existing ones across the assigned region.
• Visit sites to provide technical and commercial support and convert enquiries into orders.
• Promote corrosion protection, protective coatings and re‑engineering solutions.
• Plan your diary, maintain a robust pipeline and keep the CRM up to date.

Required profile

• Proven track record in technical, field or B2B sales, with experience winning new business and expanding accounts.
• Experience selling service‑based or engineering solutions such as industrial coatings or corrosion protection.
• Credibility with engineers, consultants and procurement teams, combined with strong commercial acumen.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of corrosion protection and protective/industrial coatings.
• Familiarity with valves, pumps, tanks and asset‑protection markets.
• Ability to use CRM systems for pipeline management.
