Area Sales Manager - North

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the North region. The role is field‑based, focusing on meeting customers, conducting site visits and driving new business in the automatic door sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities across the Northern region.
• Increase sales revenue by identifying and winning new customers.
• Promote products and services to prospective clients.
• Identify target projects, market opportunities and strategic areas for growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical documentation.
• Prospect for new business through networking and lead generation.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits.
• Produce regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

Required profile

• Direct sales experience within the automatic door industry.
• Proven track record in sales and new‑business development.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
