Area Sales Manager – North West England

About the role

We are partnering with a long‑established manufacturer of caravan holiday homes and lodges, seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to promote and sell their products across North West England. The role is fully autonomous, allowing you to own a territory, build relationships and turn opportunities into lasting accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute customer visits across the assigned territory, ensuring full coverage.
• Manage the complete customer relationship, including sales, promotions, after‑sales support, inventory checks and credit control.
• Collect and report market intelligence, maintain the sales database and submit weekly activity reports.
• Respond to retail enquiries via phone, email, web and post.
• Represent the company at public, trade and dealer shows, handling set‑up and breakdown.
• Attend team meetings at the company office and other locations as required.

Required profile

• Ambitious, target‑driven with a strong desire to meet sales objectives.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and capable of working autonomously.
• Attention to detail and solid organisational skills.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Full clean UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and sorting.

What we offer

• Base salary £30,000 rising to £35,000 after probation.
• Realistic OTE up to £70,000 through a structured commission scheme.
