Area Sales Manager – Oxford (Homebased/Field)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to lead our food‑service business in Oxford and the surrounding South East England region. The role combines home‑based planning with regular field visits, allowing you to build strong relationships with pubs, restaurants and caterers while driving profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Gain, grow and retain customers to achieve volume and revenue targets.
• Research the local market, identify opportunities and develop a pipeline of new accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships through face‑to‑face meetings and regular communication.
• Onboard new customers efficiently while nurturing existing accounts.
• Partner with clients to understand their growth plans and propose suitable product solutions.
• Monitor competitor activity and ensure the best local offers for customers.

Required profile

• Proven ability to win new business and maximise sales from existing customers.
• Background in field sales or account management, preferably within foodservice.
• Commercially astute with a passion for sales.
• Comfortable working independently in a home‑based contract while covering a defined territory.
• Inclusive mindset and commitment to contributing to a diverse workplace.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
