Area Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating Products

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to promote a high‑quality range of plumbing, heating, chimney and flue products across North East & Central England. The role is field‑based, covering both domestic and commercial customers and involves building relationships with plumbers, merchants, distributors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Sell a portfolio of flue, chimney, renewable heat products and appliances to domestic and commercial sectors.
• Develop business with plumbers’ merchants, distributors, retailers, chimney sweeps and renewable installers.
• Manage relationships with major suppliers such as BSS, Wolseley and Travis Perkins.
• Maintain and grow an existing territory currently generating £1.5 million in turnover.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales experience in chimney systems, flues, ventilation, plumbing & heating, renewables or HVAC.
• Track record of selling to specialist plumbing and heating merchants.
• Motivated, results‑oriented with a “get‑up‑and‑go” work ethic.
• Willingness to transition from a merchant or distributor role to a road‑based position.

What we offer

• Base salary £40,000‑£48,000 plus an £18,000 performance bonus.
