Area Sales Manager – Window and Door Multi-Point Locking Systems

About the role

This is a field‑based sales position focused on selling high‑end multi‑point locking systems for windows and doors across the South East. You will develop existing accounts and generate new business within the fenestration and door‑hardware market.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and manage relationships with aluminium, composite, PVC and timber door fabricators.
• Maintain and grow a customer base worth £1.5‑£2 million in revenue.
• Develop the distribution network and achieve sales targets.
• Spend 3‑4 days per week on the road, with the remainder working from home on administration and reporting.
• Target sectors include fire‑rated doors, retail and trade, new builds and aluminium fabricators.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales experience in window and door hardware within the construction industry.
• Track record of selling to door fabricators, preferably aluminium.
• Strong new‑business hunting ability and consultative selling approach.
• Comfortable with technical regulations and fire‑door legislation.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous and able to plan monthly reporting and diary.
• GAI or FRID fire‑door inspector qualification is advantageous.

• Multi‑point locking systems knowledge.
• Understanding of fire‑door regulations and legislation.
• GAI qualification (or equivalent).
• FRID qualification (or equivalent).
