Art Teacher & General Cover (Sept 2026) – Widnes

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Widnes from September 2026. This full‑time, temporary position combines teaching Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with general classroom cover when required.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Art lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Provide pre‑planned teaching cover across a range of secondary subjects as needed.
• Maintain effective classroom management and adapt quickly to different year groups.
• Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and high‑aspiration curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school.
• Confidence delivering Art at KS3 and KS4.
• Comfort delivering pre‑planned lessons across other subjects.
• Strong commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
